WHY:

3D worlds, virtual worlds, immersive education, engagement in education, distance learning -- all this and more are part of the Second Life educational experience. Wolverine Island is the University of Michigan's main space in Second Life, the home to faculty using virtual spaces to teach pharmacy, Italian, music, computer science, astronomy, and more. Come to this event to learn more about what resources are available to the University of Michigan community in support of teaching and learning in Second Life.
